What does the black belt represent ?
Imagine to yourselves a martial artist kneeling before his master. He is just about to get his black belt after many years of hard training.
“Before I’ll give you your grade” says the master, “I’ll ask for your answer on one very essential question. What is, to you, the true meaning of the back belt”?...
“Dear black belts, you all gained your grades after many years of intense training, staying true to our unique “path”. I urge you to push forward in your journey, and the true meaning of your black belt grade, will reveal itself to each one of you over and over again.”
